Autism Materials for Families and Professionals

Michigan has a strong commitment to people with developmental disabilities including children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ASD is chronic and difficult to diagnose. However, early intervention is key to producing positive outcomes in children with ASD.

To aid Michigan families with children with ASD, a state project funded by a grant from the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP) has developed a set of manuals for both families and professionals.  Links to these manuals are below.  Please feel free to open and save them for your own use.  You may also access the Michigan Quick Guide for Families of Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders brochure by clicking on this link, or the links below. The brochure provides a wealth of autism resources and links for families.

If you wish to order free hard copies of the manuals or brochure, please contact Michael at DDI by email mikebray@wayne.edu or phone (313) 577-6684 for ordering information.
