Continuing the Conversation: MI-DDI presents an online Special Interest Forum discussing Circles of Support
The Special Interest Forum series is a follow-up to the Intelligent Lives premiere at Wayne State University in October 2018. These 1-hour, webinar-style forums will provide a deeper dive into topics touched upon in the film.
Please join MI-DDI on December 20, 2018 from 5:00-6:00 PM Eastern for an online Special Interest Forum exploring the topic Circles of Support. Circles of Support can occur at any point in a person's life and are an intentional way to bring classmates, friends or interested community members together to support and encourage relationships and community participation. A guest panel will provide practical strategies for creating and sustaining circles in a variety of settings.
*1 Social Work CE unit is available for this session for a fee ($10).
