Video Resources

We offer video resources aimed at building the capacity and skills of individuals with disabilities and those who work in the disability field. Webinars are led by MI-DDI staff members, local or statewide professionals in the disability or related fields, national experts, individuals with disabilities, and family members. Most webinars are offered free of charge and may carry Continuing Education (CE) credits when available.

Lead Exposure and Child Development

MI-UCP Assistive Technology Talks: Autonomous Vehicles and Accessible Transportation by Michael Bray (MI-DDI)

In 2021, Michigan United Cerebral Palsy (MI-UCP) hosted a series of informational, virtual seminars. These talks focused on how Assistive Technology can have a significant impact on the lives of people with disabilities. These technologies can enhance individuals' abilities to learn, be independent, obtain and maintain employment, and connect with their communities. On October 14, 2021, Michael Bray from MI-DDI presented his work on the potential impact of autonomous vehicles and the accessibility of current transportation.
 
 
 

FEMA and MI-DDI Flood Disaster Speakers Panel Recorded August 25, 2021

MI-DDI teamed up with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to host a webinar featuring several speakers from FEMA. The focus of the session was on the resources and aid available to those in Michigan - Primarilly Wayne and Washtenaw counties - affected by the storms and floods of June 2021.
