MVP Certified Sites

The table below provides information on current MVP Certified sites throughout Michigan. All healthcare providers that are MVP certified have to complete training and other criteria to earn certification. Maintaining MVP certification also requires annual recertification. Barry-Eaton District Health Department

The Barry-Eaton District Health Department (BEDHD) is the nationally-accredited public health service agency for Barry and Eaton counties. We protect and improve the health of Barry and Eaton counties through education, promotion of healthy lifestyles, and implementation of effective policies and programs for individuals, families, businesses, and communities. Calhoun County Public Health Department

Located in Southwest Michigan, the Calhoun County Public Health Department (CCPHD) offers two locations: Our main site is located in the city of Battle Creek with a satellite location in the city of Albion to provide accessible services for all residents residing throughout the county. Clinical services are offered at both locations.

Corner Health Center

Corner Health is located in Ypsilanti, Michigan and serves the local community, Washtenaw County, and beyond. We provide primary care services to people ages 12-25 and their children. We provide the full spectrum of primary care services including OB care, well-child care, health physicals, health promotion, acute and chronic care. We also provide specialty care that includes psychiatry,  allergy/asthma, gynecology, and gender-affirming care. Other services and activities include behavioral health/therapy, case management, youth leadership, and a theater troupe.

Recovery Mobile Clinic

We travel to homeless shelters, transitional houses, community centers, group  homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and more to offer accessible healthcare. Our mobile vaccine clinics offer covid vaccines and influenza vaccines to institutions that have difficulty transporting clients for access to preventative care.

The WHMU is part of Wayne Health, located at Wayne State University in Detroit. The mobile unit travels throughout Southeast Michigan to provide onsite services.

Western Upper Peninsula Health Department

The Western Upper Peninsula Health Department (WUPHD), the northernmost public health department in Michigan, serves the 71,000 residents of Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties. WUPHD is headquartered in Hancock, with branch offices in L’Anse, Ontonagon and Bessemer. The agency provides a broad array of public health programs and services, including communicable disease surveillance and control, immunizations, a variety of maternal and child health programs, personal health programs, such as family planning and STI testing, school-based health education, and a full range of environmental health services.
